About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for X-ray screening operations at a logistics and distribution location in Union City, Georgia. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarms, and provide customer service and communication. The job schedule is Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support entry procedures for visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site procedures.
