About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Technician at a busy logistics and distribution location in West Palm Beach, Florida, you will help safeguard clients by using screening equipment and conducting access checks to identify prohibited items and support a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document security-related activity, and provide responsive customer service. The position is full-time, scheduled for daytime hours from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $15.24 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established protocols and site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, trailer yards, business areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Remain visible, communicate professionally, and document security-related activity.
