About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Entry Clearance in Chillicothe, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide customer service. The role supports a teamwork-focused culture built on integrity and helps deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and routine patrols. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. This is a full-time position paying $18.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry records.
Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership about access-control requirements and incident information.
