About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in a healthcare setting, you will help safeguard clients, patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The position is full time and pays $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management according to site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or resources.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
