Security Officer Part Time Morning Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol Driver in Wilson, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The officer will provide customer service, communicate with visitors and team members, and support Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
- Complete daily activity reports and maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
