About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a healthcare setting in Greenville, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, and responding professionally to incidents and concerns. The position offers a daytime schedule on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 5:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at a pay rate of $15.42 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities according to company and site-specific procedures.
