About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard employees and visitors by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, providing customer service, and documenting security-related activity. The role involves following site-specific procedures and policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate, and helping create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials or authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations to designated site contacts or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Observe and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
