About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Dublin, Ohio, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment. The role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to concerns, consistent with Allied Universal’s values.

The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and support authorized access practices.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
