About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Greenwood, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also involves delivering outstanding customer service, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and supporting a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position paying $17.75 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
