About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a government utility location in Omaha, Nebraska. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and professionally reporting observations. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting reliable site operations. The position pays $19.74 per hour and is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state or local licensing requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in daily activity and incident reports.
