As a Security Officer Patrol in VICKSBURG, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the facility.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
Assist with maintaining an orderly workplace by reporting unusual conditions, damaged access controls, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
