About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Houston, Texas. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting a welcoming environment, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, at a pay rate of $15.95 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff traffic in accordance with site requirements; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
