About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Houston, Texas, you will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment while following site-specific policies and procedures. The schedule is Tuesday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $17.04 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
