About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a transportation facility in Irving, Texas. The role is primarily a driving post and involves safeguarding clients, providing customer service, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and following site-specific security procedures. The scheduled hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $18.11 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Have a valid driver's license, as required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal access points, parking areas, employee entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns or policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with company and site requirements.
