About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide visitor screening and security services at an assigned logistics and distribution site in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. The role offers reliable weekly anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and schedule. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed.

The position involves customer service and access control for employees, drivers, visitors, vendors, and delivery partners. Officers verify credentials, maintain access records, monitor entry and exit points, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and follow site-specific procedures. The posted pay rate is $18.73 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local security licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and delivery partners while supporting the orderly movement of people, vehicles, and materials.
