About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. The position is intended for part-time work, with flexibility to take on additional hours and the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week.

The role provides customer service while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security policies. Duties include screening people, packages, and vehicles as assigned; monitoring access points; responding to incidents and alarms; and patrolling assigned areas. Pay is $15.24 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles as assigned; verify credentials and maintain accurate screening-related records.
• Monitor access points and support controlled entry and exit procedures to help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, the facility, and perimeter, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
