About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time experienced unarmed Security Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas and access points, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.17 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including the building exterior, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
