About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an experienced, part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Ashville, Ohio. The officer will safeguard clients at a technology-focused site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service and communication. The role supports a welcoming environment through routine rounds, observation, and timely reporting of concerns. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting relevant activity in accordance with site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports as required.
Maintain a professional presence at a technology-focused site, observe and report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for authorized personnel and visitors.
