About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed site patrol Security Officer in Chantilly, Virginia. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, or scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Site facilities are limited and may include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The position includes customer service, security procedures, incident response, and patrol duties.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
