Security Officer - Residential Building Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a residential location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas and the surrounding perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. The role involves responding to security-related concerns, observing and reporting activity, monitoring access points, documenting incidents, and providing professional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. The position is scheduled Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at a rate of $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and follow established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
Document incidents and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation accurately and on time.
