About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate effectively while working collaboratively and with integrity. The listed schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
