About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support a dynamic technology location in Whitsett, North Carolina. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assisting employees and visitors professionally, and documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. The position is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and pays $16.89 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities while maintaining a professional presence.
