About The Position

As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Stockton, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify visitor and driver authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound traffic according to site procedures, including checking delivery documentation, trailers, and vehicle access authorization.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
