About The Position

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location in Carrollton, Texas, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors, and provide customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

The position is full-time and pays $18.07 per hour. The scheduled hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, taking part in emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations while following established security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned commercial property areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Assist with enforcing property rules, manage visitor and contractor check-in processes, and provide directions or information as needed.
