About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Lobby Operations in San Antonio, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. In this armed front desk role, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive observation, accurate documentation, and customer service. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, assist with access procedures, and direct guests to appropriate areas within a financial institution.
Monitor the front desk, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and follow site-specific security policies and procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Help control access to restricted areas and deter unauthorized entry through observation and adherence to established procedures.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
Complete required reports and document security-related activities.
