About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a retail location in Brentwood, California. The role involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors. The officer will follow site-specific procedures, communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
Direct visitors, provide general information, and support a welcoming environment while remaining aware of security-related concerns.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
