Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Houston, Texas, you will help safeguard tenants, visitors, and property. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control and alarm-related activities, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role follows a schedule of Wednesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.85 per hour. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for this unarmed role. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and property activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
