About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve as a front-desk security professional at a food and beverage location in Solon, Ohio. The officer will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a professional and secure environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and pays $17.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security systems from the reception area; report unusual activity and follow site escalation procedures.
Respond professionally to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations, contacting site contacts or emergency services as needed.
Deter unauthorized access through a professional front-desk presence and communicate facility entry requirements to visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
