About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Whitehall, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the client through routine patrols, monitoring access points and alarm panels, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing professional customer service to visitors and staff, using computer or tablet systems to support daily operations, and working as part of a reliable, integrity-driven team. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.11 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, review visitor and contractor entry activity, and report unusual conditions or access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating with appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
