About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a utility location in Elkhorn, Nebraska. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, respond professionally to site needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. The role follows a schedule of Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and Friday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a utility location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns.
• Respond professionally to site needs and communicate effectively.
