About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Pahoa, Hawaii. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming environment by responding to security-related concerns and collaborating with others. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Communicate and collaborate with others while responding to security-related concerns.
