About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a retail and mall location in Oxford, Ohio. The officer will safeguard the location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication to visitors and tenants. The schedule is daytime on Saturday and Sunday, 5:45 AM to 3:45 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, business spaces, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to company and site procedures.
