Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Driver

About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Baldwinsville, New York, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location. In this access-control and driving role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle access, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers; communicate clearly; and support security operations with integrity and teamwork. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $18.11 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges or passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, docks, and designated entrances, following site procedures for deliveries, contractors, and outbound traffic.
Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
