About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Perimeter Patrol in Monee, Illinois. The position provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift is Thursday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, and requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be available at multiple sites, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed.

The officer provides customer service and security support at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Duties include following site procedures, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, documenting visitors and incidents, and responding professionally to alarms and other situations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
• Commitment to the assigned site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Follow site-specific procedures and access-control requirements, and carry out emergency-response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify credentials according to site procedures and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive activity through a professional presence, routine patrols, and timely reporting.
