About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Oceanside, California. The position provides a fixed, designated weekly shift at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to vary their hours and work up to 40 hours per week. The role is intended for candidates seeking part-time employment with consistent base hours and flexibility to supplement their schedule.

The position pays $20.25 per hour and has a scheduled daytime shift on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The officer works at a financial institution, providing customer service and carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, members, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and activity, direct visitors as appropriate, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required logs accurately.
