About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for perimeter patrol in Doral, Florida. The officer will serve clients in technology, media, telecommunications, logistics, and distribution settings. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to concerns, documenting observations, and providing customer service. The position offers access to a shift-claiming platform and paid training.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of broadcast, office, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, delivery traffic, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
