About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Dunkirk, New York. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, observing personnel and vehicle activity, and supporting site entry procedures. The role includes customer service, responding to incidents and alarms, and completing timely reports and shift communications. The position pays $18.00 per hour and has a schedule of Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Observe personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity and support site entry procedures as directed.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to company and site requirements.
