About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location in Saint Louis, Missouri. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $18.04 per hour.

The role serves students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. It requires at least six months of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow campus protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and building access procedures; report unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific requirements.
