About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution in Nashville, Tennessee. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. The role provides customer service, communicates clearly, and responds professionally to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $16.27 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and guests while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
