About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Linthicum, Maryland. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role involves responding to security-related concerns, communicating clearly, and providing exceptional customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws; licensing may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to address incidents, delivery-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, trailer yards, and other designated locations.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site-specific procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
