About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Knoxville, Tennessee, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. The position is scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at $15.24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document events as required.
Observe logistics and distribution operations for security-related concerns, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
