About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for perimeter patrol at an assigned food and beverage production location in Forest, Mississippi. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor schedule that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow work to scale up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $15.66 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include unarmed patrols, access monitoring, responding to incidents, and documenting observations and activities. The role also supports controls for personnel movement, vehicle traffic, and restricted-area access.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
• Document observations, incidents, and relevant activities in required reports.
• Support site requirements for personnel movement, vehicle traffic, and restricted-area access while interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
