About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve at a residential condominium community in Miami, Florida. The officer will safeguard residents, guests, vendors, and the property by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role includes a scheduled mix of daytime and evening shifts Wednesday through Saturday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, amenities, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
