About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Racine, Wisconsin, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. The role involves unarmed patrol driving, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. The officer follows site-specific security procedures and policies, responds to incidents and emergencies, observes activity, and communicates and documents relevant information. A valid driver's license and at least one year of driving history are required. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; candidates must have at least one year of driving history.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Assist with documenting incidents, maintaining daily activity logs, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
