About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as retail and malls. In this driving, unarmed role, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. You will communicate with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A New York State Security Guard License is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and other customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence.
