Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Fontana, California. The officer will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and helping support a secure environment. The position requires a valid driver’s license and involves customer service, clear communication, and collaboration with a team. The work schedule is Friday and Saturday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a license is required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and manufacturing facilities, including interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor and report unusual activity, facility hazards, access concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters to appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Assist with access control, visitor verification, and compliance with site entry requirements while helping deter unauthorized activity.
