About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol security officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Katy, Texas, you will help safeguard the client and provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. You will conduct interior and exterior patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents and alarms, document activity, and support a welcoming environment. The listed schedule is Monday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Friday through Sunday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.26 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and common spaces; report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
