About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a financial institution location in Ashburn, Virginia. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, deterring incidents, and responding to alarms and other security concerns. The role also provides customer service and clear communication to help maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

The scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under state or local rules. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
