About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Chantilly, Virginia. The officer will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role follows site-specific procedures and security-related policies. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and critical infrastructure spaces; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and public-service responders, supporting a professional and orderly work environment.
