About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned technology-focused site in Irving, Texas. The role offers a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours can vary by week, with opportunities to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated schedule is Monday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $22.25 per hour.

The Security Officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include responding to incidents and access concerns, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points and activity near sensitive technology infrastructure, and documenting patrols and incidents. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable law.
• Drug screening, as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and activity around sensitive technology infrastructure, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors.
